This is the photograph used for Tamar Braxton’s first single “Love and War” that I photographed last month at her LA Home. She’s gorgeous, right? Add my twitter.

The new year brings many new things, right? Let me push one along for you, it’s Aj Subat a new artist coming your way in 2011. I did the photography for his packaging and here are select images.

Did I already post this? I forgot and I am not about to dig pages back to verify. Here you go. Good B&W.
This is Taylor from Photogenics and we photographed this on my roof. It was a quick one day shoot, and LA had the horrible heat wave. We went outside because one of the best things about winter/fall is the sun. It’s lower in the sky and you get better shading. When the sun is too high up in the summer you get the dark shadows under the eyes which give you raccoon eyes. Usually in the summer you have to photograph super early or late in the afternoon and your pictures are too orange.
This was photographed on a 5DII, L Series lense, and all natural light. We did not use any light support for this image.
Photographed at Hotel Cecil in Downtown LA. This is where the night stalker stayed during his killing rampage that scared So Cal to death in the mid 80’s. If you are parents have a 3rd lock, it’s probably because of the night stalker. I am trying to sex up my portfolio, thus the new increase in sexy images. The night stalker tid bit was a little fact, NOT related to this shoot.
LA Ink is just premiered and they added some new talent. Recently I photographed the promotional images for the very hot, Ruthie “Ruthless” who will be on the show. This is the first of the many looks we prepared for her upcoming publications. It should always be noted but for this shoot in particular, I could not capture these images without my hardworking team. They are noted below. This image in particular was shot as a last minute addition to the set, on the roof top of an LA building on Wilshire. The set was called “Silver Madonna” (80′s Madonna), and you can see the inspiration in the images. Nilo did a great job on the hair and make up, Ruthie had finally calmed down around me (I can be intense!), and Matt did a great job mixing our wardrobe to match the theme. Stay tuned for more of our shoot with Ruthless, as they appear in magazines and ads worldwide. Glam: Nilo Rostai Add her on twitter Add ME on twitter
